NOIR by Invadhertz represents something good that came out from a horrible time. NOIR sees the London based duo, Invadehertz cross over to a fully Halftime/Hip-Hop sounding project that is deep, dark & soulful! The artists themselves have always been huge fans of Hip Hop, LoFi and Beats music but have never really released anything except a few tracks. These 4 tracks: “Blue”, “Noir”, “Dream Flow” & “Hypnotize” mark the beginning of a new era for them!

Invadhertz started to work on “NOIR” during the first lockdown in March 2020. The whole year had been tough on everyone and experimenting with music and taking time to study and learn new things proved to be the only solace.

That’s when they started to make a lot of drafts and then “Dream Flow” was the first track that clicked after which “Blue” and then “Noir”, followed. The first track made for this EP was “Hypnotize” which was actually an older draft that they started around 2 years ago.

All the tracks are half time tempo and they used a few Soul/Hip-Hop samples like pianos, vocals, atmospheres etc to create its general vibe. There is an integration of classic Hip-Hop kind of MPC drums samples and 808 drums running through the whole EP. The basses were made both in digital and analog so the songs could have more deep and soulful vibes.

The album artwork is by Invadhertz

Invadhertz consists of Francesco Malvaso and Alessandro D’addario Fernandez, both producer-djs originally from Rome but residing in London since 2016. Their sound, crafted originally in drum and bass, is focused on deep and soulful vibes, characterised by rolling drums, signature sound designs and euphoric atmospheres.
